Join us as SFYBT celebrates its 20th annual production of “The Nutcracker.”
This magical, full-length version of The Nutcracker features professional guest artists and the youth talent from the San Francisco Youth Ballet Academy.
The dance tells the story of young Clara, who dreams that her gift of a toy nutcracker soldier comes to life. Together they experience a grand adventure that takes them through an epic battle with the Mouse King to the Sugar Plum Fairy's magical Kingdom of Sweets.
This 2-hour production (including at 15minute intermission) is geared toward families and is a perfect opportunity to introduce young children to this holiday ballet tradition. As always, there will be photo opportunities with different characters after all performances.
Sugar Plum VIP seating includes a unique preshow meet & greet with the Sugarplum Fairy (30 minutes before showtime), concession provisions, discounted parking, and a special gift for children under 10. We also have a limited number of VIP tables right at the front of the stage, which include snacks, gifts, parking, and a unique preshow photo opportunity with main characters. These special VIP opportunities will sell out fast!
